KEOKRADONG

Keokradong also spell as Keokaradong,Keokradang or Kewkradong. The post popular peak of Bangladesh and become one of the  most popular tourist attraction of Bangladesh. Also can count as the most popular trekking destination of Bangladesh. Sometime officially it claimed as the highest peak of Bangladesh. Official height of the peak is 1230 meter or 4035 feet. A stone put up on the top of the peak by the Bangladeshi military proclaiming the altitude to be 3172 feet. Though most of the detail map shows the location on the peak in further north but this peak has been established as Keokradong from the beginning , when the trekkers started to visit it.

How to go:

Night-01: Deaprt from Dhaka at 11:30 pm by overnight train journey to Chittagong.
Day-01: on arrival at Chittagong early in the morning. after breakfast, drive to bandarban for check in resort after lunch sightseeing around bandarban include Golden temple, Tiger hill and Megla spot, free time in the evening, overnight in resort.

Day-02: after early breakfast drive by reserved chander gari to ruma after crossing shangu river lunch in Ruma bazaar. after having lunch drive for Boga lake. Overnight at Boga lake cottage.

Day-03: after breakfast, with the national flag of Bangladesh, start  trekking towards Keokradong through Darjeeling para or JHIRI path  it will takes three hours and half to reach at Keokradong ( the 2nd highest peak of Bangladesh ) feel free enjoy in the roof of Bangladesh. In the afternoon trek down to Boga lake through JHIRI path and overnight  stay.

Day-04: trekking to Ruma bazaar early in the morning and boat trip to take the reserved chander gari drive back to Bandarban and chittagong. after having dinner overnight volvo bus / train  journey to Dhaka.
